Moon Mehmood | Founder and CEO

Moon Mehmood is an Entrepreneur with over 15 years of executive leadership experience expanding over multiple industries including but not limited to, Healthcare, Retail E Commerce, Film Production and Content Development, Real Estate, as well as Service Marketplace Management. 

While on a trip to a few countries in Asia, she saw how street food enriched the fabric of their cultures. Street Food was always within walking distance or it would simply come to you in the form or a cart or a truck. It was informal, delicious, and convenient. She instantly knew that was something that Houston had to have. 

This journey began with opening a small Food Truck Park in the Heart of Midtown Houston. It was rewarding to see how food united people. No matter what color, race, religion, or political affiliation someone identified as, they would always enjoy trying foods originating from all across the globe. Moon believes as our palettes grow, so do our minds and hearts to others.  

With the Mobile Food Co, her mission was to bring street food to the door steps of patrons without the added cost of delivery fees. From that she expanded the company’s mission to not only serve, but to serve with purpose. That mission was filled the day we partnered with Fort Bend ISD to service their schools, while helping to pay off school lunch debt. No child in this great nation should have to worry about where their next meal is going to come from while trying to obtain an education. We learn better when our bodies and minds are nourished.
